Unexpected error EPERM

Hello,

I'm having an issue when clicking on a page in the Radzen editor. Everytime I click on a page, the following error appears:

EPERM: operation not permitted, rename 'C:\Users\VMware\Documents\Layout1\meta\pages\log-plc-events.json.tmp' -> 'C:\Users\VMware\Documents\Layout1\meta\pages\log-plc-events.json'

The application is running just fine but it's kind of annoying that this pop-up is appearing everytime I switch from page.

Do you guys know how I can get rid of this unexpected error?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @ChrisI,
i suggest a antivirus program. I got that error in the past and after excluding my radzen Project Folder all works fine. Somewhere a had read which directory from Radzen should be excluded from Antivirus software... but dont remember where.

Thomas

Indeed this error could happen due to overzealous antiviral software. Usually the solution is to exclude both Radzen's installation directory (c:\program files\radzen) AND your application directory (it looks to be c:\users\VMWare\Documents)

Hello @korchev,

I've excluded the directories in my Windows Defender but it's still giving the error message. However, I am using a VM without any antivirus software except for Windows Defender. Do I need to exclude the VM directory instead?

You should exclude the directories in windows defender too. Also make sure the user has write access to C:\Users\VMware\
