Slider Tick Marks

Hi All,

I have recently come across Radzen, an excellent resource, and the slider component. I find it particularly useful that the functionality to have two handles on a single slider exists. However, is there a way to show the tick marks of the slider? I might be missing something simple but if this is not possible right now then are there any plans to include it in the future?

Thank you.
Thomas

Hi @ThomasG,

There is no such functionality for the slider component at the moment.

Hi @enchev,

Thank you so much for the very fast response to my message. It is a shame this functionality isn't there yet, Radzen seems like such a great resource. Sadly my needs are more than it can provide so the search must continue.

Thank you again,
Thomas

Radzen Blazor components are free and open source and we accept pull requests!

Do you want the marker on the slider to stick to the ticks aswell?

Thank you both for your replies. I think that it is great that Radzen is open source like this for the community to add to @enchev. However, I am quite new to this and wouldn't really know where to start to be honest.

The functionality that I had been looking for @Gottegubben was the option to display tick marks and values below the slider on each step, assuming a step had been defined. With the option to hide individual ticks/values as needed. Having the option to also turn on/off displaying the value in a tooltip while the slider thumb was selected and dragged was also the goal. Thanks for your question, are you looking for something similar too or know how to achieve this?

I´m a systemdeveloper and might try to make an pullrequest regardning this. However, i do this on my free time when off work. I´ll get back to you if I manage to make something.

Wow really? thank you so much, that would be great if you did! I fully understand that if you did it would be on your free time so please don't feel any pressure to do so. It would be awesome if you managed it though as I really like how clean and professional everything feels with Radzen and don't really want to switch to using something else.
I have to say as well that I am super impressed by the community here, everyone seems so nice and the rate you all respond to messages is incredible
