Radzen fails to load

Hi
Tried to load Radzen this morning and it fails on my Windows 10 dev box. Show list of projects for a couple of seconds then crashes out.
Have rebooted but no different.
It was working great on Saturday.
Not sure if it's relevant, the only thing different I can thing of was an update to syncfusion I installed late Saturday.

Have included radzen log and event log below

Hi,
same thing here. Half an hour ago it worked. Appeared message to update to 2.43.2, done, did not start anymore. Unistalled, reinstalled, restart did not solve. I have updated synchfusion Saturday too but this morning started. Just before or just after reinstall, I don't remember, I have updated sql provider and blazor components using Nuget.

Thanks have downloaded and using the new version ok
I did notice that it seems less tolerant of having VS loaded (or visa versa) with the project as well. If I have run the app in VS (Ctrl F5) at least once it blocks Radzen from building until I close the project in VS. Seems to hold on to the socket. Pretty sure I could do that in the past.

Second time unistall and reinstall with visual studio closed did NOT solve.

We haven't made any changes regarding this. Only updated Electron. It should be possible to run the same dotnet application twice as it binds to the same port - 5000 by default.

This log doesn't include any errors. Access denied or UNKNOWN error code on spawn, will be executed again using elevate is just informational. Is there anything else in the log? What version of Radzen do you have installed at the moment? You can check that by hovering radzen.exe in Windows Explorer.

Can you send us the complete log file?

The issue shouldn't be the access denied one (it is just info and happens when the current user doesn't have enough rights to install for all users). The other thing though looks suspicious Error: Command failed: powershell.exe Get-AuthenticodeSignature 'C:\Users\freefly\AppData\Local\Temp\up-ZXmamZ\Radzen-Setup-2.43.2.exe' | ConvertTo-Json -Compress. It is something that should have been fixed but apparently isn't. The original poster of that issue says that it happened only to some of their users and rebooting usually addresses the problem.

By the way what is your windows version? Can you try running powershell.exe Get-AuthenticodeSignature 'C:\Users\freefly\AppData\Local\Temp\up-ZXmamZ\Radzen-Setup-2.43.2.exe' | ConvertTo-Json -Compress to see what the result would be?

Hi Korchev,
• I am admin on this machine
• “Error command failed …”: Seems to be relative to the file downloaded by Radzen itself. The problem persists also after reinstall with file downloaded manually from the site.
• One particular: I had form template wizard opened (master detail) when I saw the notification of the update in background. I choose to continue and proceed to update later. When wizard ended, I expected to see the forms instead none was present. I thought it was due to imminent update so I clicked on the notification to proceed to update
• Win 10 regularly updated
• Running “powershell …” results in program not found for ConvertToJson and in fact searching for it using dir /s it does not exists.
• Below the complete file. Consider that D: Is a bitlocker drive. You will find that it has not found some file because I launched Radzen before unlocking D: drive.

It seems that you have Radzen 2.42.9 at the moment. What happens if you download the latest version from www.radzen.com and install it?

In this case what you have pasted isn't the complete log - Radzen 2.43.2 shouldn't try to update to the same version. Please attach the whole file.

I am afraid this isn't a known issue and we are unable to reproduce it. There is still a chance this isn't the latest Radzen version (despite what Add Remove Programs shows). You can disable Auto Updates in Radzen from the Settings menu to see if this makes a difference. Then you can check the Radzen version from Help -> About.

I realized that in my empty bin I have installer of 2.42.8.

Installed 2.42.8
Radzen started and notified to update. Clicked ok

If 2.43.2 failed to start there should be an error message in the log. We don't see such a message in the log though. Are you using Radzen as a trial, community or professional (could be related)?
