Onpaste is not called when pasting an image

i am trying to paste an image in the html editor, the onpaste isnt called. The same is called when i try to paste a text. is this the expected behaviour

Yes, this is the expected behavior considering the current implementation.

is there any plan to capture onpaste on image paste

Was this functionality added, i think this is what im looking for?
