Multi-Columns on Page

Hi
I have scaffolded a page using the Form option and now want to arrange the 18 fields into, say, 3 columns to reduce the page size/space used. Am I missing something on the UI to make 3 columns? I'm trying to avoid dropping out of the UI into CSS or Visual Studio. I've seen "Class>Hor Align and Vert Aligh options but if a 2nd column is dragged into the row, it just drops under the existing col at 100% width.
