Is there a way to enable grid column resize?

It seems to contradict ColumnWidth though. If I check ColumnResize I loose the column initial width. Is there a way to have both?

Could I please have a positive or negative answer in this so that I decide how to cope with it?

Yes, you are right. At the moment this is how the resizing is implemented.
