Not sure why you closed my previous post, I still do not understand how I create a date span. I did as some point noticed on mobile a text of selection that I do not see on desktop.

please explain how I create a date span using this image. If I don't understand it, how should the end user understand it. and the two input boxes at the bottom what are those?

As I already noted almost every DataGrid demo is using advanced filtering mode including the very first example:
