I work for Elections Alberta (Canada) as a Registry Analyst. I develop applications that combine a lot of traditional data processing activities with GIS functionality using tools such as C#, Asp.Net / Core, Blazor, RadZen, SLQ Server, ArcGIS Javascript API's, ArcGIS Pro. I'm currently building an application that uses Geocoding to locate addresses and calculate an x,y coordinate for the address so that we can view it on a map and locate it within the correct Electoral District. This is a new application and I consider it an architectural prototype for the way I think we should be buidling applications in the future.
