Hello, I am using the latest version of Radzen Studio V.1.70.5. I only created a blank server site application. Fixed three issues: > > 1. **`CCom.AlarmMonitor.csproj`** — removed `Version="*"` from the `Radzen.Blazor` `PackageReference` (Central Package Management forbids per-project versions; the version is already centrally pinned to 11.2.3 in `Directory.Packages.props`). > > 2. **`App.razor`, `MainLayout.razor.cs`, `Index.razor.cs`** — `[Inject]`/`[CascadingParameter]` properties lacked nullable initializers, which fails under this repo's `Nullable enable` + `TreatWarningsAsErrors`. (`required` for `App.razor`, `= default!;` for code-behind). > > 3. **`Controllers/ReportController.cs:103`** — `header.Value` (a `StringValues`) implicitly converts to nullable `string?`, which failed CS8601 when boxed into a `string[]`. Matched the fix already present in the sibling `TestRadzen` project by calling `.ToString()`. When generating a new app, there should be no error at all. ---

Hi @weismantelf, Normally there is no error when generating a new application with Radzen Blazor Studio. How can this be? I start Radzen Studio and click on create application and follow the the steps to create a new server side blazor app in an empty directory. So this should normally work. So on my machine is only .net 10 SDK installed. Can it be that some parts of radzen studio is referencing old frameworks? I just want to mention that on the PC is the brand new community edition of VS2026 installed. ---

According to the message you posted there is a Directory.Packages.props up the folder hierarchy which forbids using "\*" as package version which apps created by Radzen Blazor Studio use by default for the Radzen.Blazor package to make upgrades seamless. You can search for this file in your system (or ask Claude to find it for you). Proved by this error message: ```auto error NU1008: The following PackageReference items cannot define a value for Version: Radzen.Blazor. ``` Projects created by Radzen Blazor Studio do not enable Central Package Management by default - they use the simplest configuration that works.
