I know this capability is a planed feature. I have a requirement to implement inline editing in a datagrid and I'm working on PrimeNG alternatives. It's possible to integrate jquery datatable or can you recommend another option?

We haven't tested that plugin or other options and cannot recommend you an alternative. It is probably possible to integrate it by following the approach from this blog post.
I'm also very interested in the In-Line editing. Is there a target time frame when this feature could be released?
Early fall (tentatively). We haven't started working on this feature as it would require quite an overhaul of the existing DataGrid component.
