Checkbox validator

Hello radzen team,
i have defined a required validator on a checkbox (not tristate).
When a add a record (all checkboxes are X) und uncheck (looks like an empty white sqaure) the checkbox the required validator is activated and shows "Aktiv is required".
I thought the validator triggers on null values?
Is this the desired behaviour?

We’ve added recently DefaultValue property for RequiredValidator - it can be set to 0 (or any other value depending on case) for non nullable fields for example.
