Active directory setup

In the AD configuration, you are required to specify the "name or IP of the domain server". Are there any plans (or is there a way currently) to allow for a backup server in the event of the server specified being offline (e.g. for patching or some other form of maintenance).

Hi @markb,

The library that we use to connect to Active Directory doesn't support alternatives or backup servers. I am afraid we can't easily provide support for that in Radzen.

Hi,

Thanks for that. The documentation states that you have to specify the "name or IP of the domain server" in the "Server" field within the Radzen configuration. Is there any support for using an AD domain name rather than server name or IP address?

Not sure about that you would have to test. The Active Directory connection code is generated in the application itself - ApplicationUserManager.cs
